Tithes and Offerings
In most churches you'll probably hear the pastor say, "Take a minute and greet someone."
That is pretty normal to hear in church.
It's unusual to hear the pastor say, "Take a minute to pray a blessing over someone near you."
We pray a blessing over your offering right now in the name of JESUS.
Several scriptures speak about the blessing.
Moses prayer of blessings over the Israelites in Numbers 6:24-26 also called The Priestly Blessings.
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND PROTECT YOU.
MAY THE LORD SMILE ON YOU AND BE GRACIOUS TO YOU.
MAY THE LORD SHOW HIS FAVOR AND GIVE YOU PEACE IN THE NAME OF JESUS..
Blessing prayers are simple: They are prayers asking for the things of God's kingdom to be present in the person's life and for specific attributes of God's character to show in their life.
